Frequently Asked Questions - Please, please, please read these before contacting us.
  1. Can I switch from the 10K to the 5K? (or vice-versa)
Yes, but only until 12-noon Friday Feb 5th. Send us an email: registration at runagainstcancer.org

  2. Am I getting a shirt w/ my registration?
Your confirmation email lists your race category. If it states "5K w/ shirt" or "10K w/ shirt" (or "shirt only") then you've ordered a shirt and will get it at registration. If you signed up before we offered shirts, you can order one by choosing "shirt only" on our RaceMenu page.

  3. Are you selling shirts in the stores or on race day?
We have a limited supply of shirts so they are only sold online, not in stores. We can not guarantee any shirts will be available for sale at the race.

  4. I saw something that said "free shirt to the first 500 runners. Did I register early enough?
Sorry, you saw that on the page for last year's race. We just added shirts to the 2010 race page last week.

  5. I do not see my name on the start list; am I registered?
Once registered, you are sent a confirmation email and the race appears on your MyRaceMenu page. If you received an email but can't find your name on the list, please look again. If you did not receive an email, please check your MyRaceMenu page; our email might've been filtered (especially if you use Comcast email.)

  6. I can't attend the race; can I get a refund?
Sorry, no can do; all proceeds from the event go to Livestrong. If you can't run, you can still get your goodie bag... your entry fee goes to Livestrong.

  7. Why would you close registration as "sold out" if this race is a fundraiser?
For your safety, the City of Boston limits how many runners can attend the event. Yes, we know another race on the same road has a lot more runners... ask the city.

  8. I signed up for the wait-list; what are my chances of getting into the race?
The Mix 104.1 Super Sunday Charity Team still has bibs; the fee is $100 but 100% goes to Livestrong and you get extra Super Sunday goodies!

  9. Can my friend/spouse/child get into the party tent after the race?
Yes, you can order extra tickets ($10, no add'l fee) online. Tickets may also be available on race day but only after 11am if the tent has not reached capacity. Ticket includes access to food & drink and must be purchased for entry into the tent, even if not eating or drinking. Remember, 100% goes to Livestrong.

  10. Where do we park for free parking?
390 Congress Street - the parking lot where the race starts and finishes. We'll give you a voucher when you arrive so that you won't have to pay when you leave.

  11. Is this an "all you can drink" event?
Hell no; this is a "two beer, max" event. If you're of age, we'll give you a wristband and two beer tickets when you enter the tent. If you're still thirsty after that, the Atlantic Beer Garden is right across the street.

  12. When and where is the race director's Superbowl party?
5:00pm at Atlantic Beer Garden. Everyone is welcome... good food and lots of door prizes. Free for RACE volunteers and $5 for everyone else. Space is limited; please RSVP on Facebook.
